Shungite for EMF Protection

Shungite is a crystalline carbon rock mined exclusively in the Republic of Karelia, a Russian federation. Its fullerene structure microscopically resembles a soccer ball having twelve pentagons and twenty hexagons in a ringed pattern (Carbon-60/C60). Shungite’s unique fullerene structure filters EMF radiation, thus reducing its harmful effects. Fullerenes are also powerful antioxidants that protect cells from the damaging effects of free radicals. In the past few years shungite has gained popularity as an excellent natural health aid.

EMF Radiation Exposure

EMF exposure is rising dramatically. It is important to learn as much as possible about its hazards and how to stay protected from them. For more information about EMF exposures, read the post EMF Safety. The following BioInitiative report clearly verifies these hazards. After the report summary, read how shungite is used for reducing radiation exposure.

EMF Radiation Bioeffects

BioInitiative Report Conclusions (2012, 2014, 2017):

“Bioeffects are clearly established and occur at very low levels of exposure to electromagnetic fields and radiofrequency radiation. Bioeffects can occur in the first few minutes at levels associated with cell and cordless phone use. Bioeffects can also occur from just minutes of exposure to mobile phone masts (cell towers), WI-FI, and wireless utility ‘smart’ meters that produce whole-body exposure. Chronic base station level exposures can result in illness. “

“Many of these bioeffects can reasonably be presumed to result in adverse health effects if the exposures are prolonged or chronic. This is because they interfere with normal body processes (disrupt homeostasis), prevent the body from healing damaged DNA, produce immune system imbalances, metabolic disruption and lower resilience to disease across multiple pathways. Essential body processes can eventually be disabled by incessant external stresses (from system-wide electrophysiological interference) and lead to pervasive impairment of metabolic and reproductive functions.”

“At least five new cell tower studies are reporting bioeffects in the range of 0.003 to 0.05 μW/cm2 at lower levels than reported in 2007 (0.05 to 0.1 uW/cm2 was the range below which, in 2007, effects were not observed). Researchers report headaches, concentration difficulties and behavioral problems in children and adolescents; and sleep disturbances, headaches and concentration problems in adults. ”

“Human sperm are damaged by cell phone radiation at very low intensities in the low microwatt and nanowatt/cm2 range (0.00034 – 0.07 uW/cm2). There is a veritable flood of new studies reporting sperm damage in humans and animals, leading to substantial concerns for fertility, reproduction and health of the offspring (unrepaired de novo mutations in sperm). Exposure levels are similar to those resulting from wearing a cell phone on the belt, or in the pants pocket, or using a wireless laptop computer on the lap. Sperm lack the ability to repair DNA damage.”1

Shungite EMF Protection

When a three or four inch tall shungite pyramid is placed in front of a computer, it filters harmful radiation to be biocompatible. The larger the pyramid, the more protection it provides. Small slabs of shungite may be taped to a cell phone for EMF protection. A shungite necklace may be worn over the heart area for those sensitive to EMF. Shungite pyramids may also be placed throughout the home or workplace for continuous protection against harmful radiation.

Verifying True Shungite

True shungite is electroconductive. A flashlight may be used for testing the authenticity of shungite. Unscrew the end cap from a flashlight. Touch the shungite stone to the battery. If the flashlight lights up, it is a true piece of shungite. Don’t be fooled into purchasing a fake black stone that looks like shungite. Karelian Heritage sells authentic shungite online. This affiliate site provides an abundance of educational material about shungite as well. Our website ministry receives a ten percent commission on all purchases made using this link.

Antioxidant Value

“This study confirms the hypothesis that shungite, a natural fullerene, has antioxidant properties as it reduced the intracellular ROS production and enhanced the antioxidant enzyme activities (GPx, SOD, and MPO) in vivo.”2

Consuming shungite powder is not recommended unless it is chemically bonded to a food substance for proper digestion. Otherwise, it may do more harm than good. Being a rock, like other mineral supplements, it is best absorbed when professionally chelated or bonded.

Blackstrap molasses is a food providing the healthy benefits of fullerene carbon-60. For its antioxidant value, mix a teaspoon or two of molasses in warm water to dissolve it, making a tea-like drink, or add it to other foods as a sweetener and flavoring.
